Seacrest Gives Back!

April 22 2009, Published 9:40 a.m. ET
If Ryan Seacrest has learned anything from eight seasons of hosting American Idol, it’s how to give back.
OK! hosted a table at last night’s BritWeek Gala Dinner benefiting the charity, Malaria No More, at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, where the Idol host proved he was willing to put his money where his mouth is — to the tune of six figures!
Ryan, who traveled to Africa in 2007 in an effort to raise global awareness of the disease, went straight to the event from Idol’s live taping, where he introduced special guest, former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair.

At the end of the night when guests were being encouraged to flex their checkbooks in donations, Simon Cowell's sparring partner immediately wrote out a check for $100,000! Even for a guy whose been called "Hollywood's hardest working man," that's no chump change.
We take back (almost) everything negative we've ever written about you Ryan!
