NHL star Sean Avery was arrested early Friday morning after he allegedly shoved a cop.
The New York Ranger, according to an L.A. Police Department spokesman (via NBC New York News), was charged with battery on a police office early Friday morning.
Police arrived at Sean’s home a little after midnight when they received complaints of loud music and found Sean having a party at his Hollywood Hills home.
Sean reportedly argued with police and pushed an officer as he tried to go back inside his house. The 31-year-old star then slammed his door and refused to come back out causing more officers to be called to his home.
Once he did come outside, Sean was reportedly cooperative, but was then arrested for battery of a police officer.
His bail was set at $20,000.
