Sean Kingston Makes First Public Appearance Since Jet Ski Accident, Says "Life Is Short"

Although walking down the red carpet may seem ordinary, to "Beautiful Girls" singer Sean Kingston, he wasn't taking anything for granted. In his first public appearance since the jet ski accident in May, Sean attended the Teen Choice Awards and says he feels happy.

Sean told OK! it was actually easier to get back to work after the recovery. "No actually it was easier. I was ready. I had a lot of time off so it was easy to go back into the studio."

Adding that he feels good and is in happy spirits, one true blue friend has been Justin Bieber. "Yeah he is a definitely a great friend and a loyal friend." He told reporters, "He has been there since the day that I came out of the hospital.

As for whether or not his new tunes will reflect what he's been through, he says we'll have to "wait and see." He did learn some major life lessons as a result of the accident.
