Sean Kingston is on his way to a full recovery after a traumatic jet ski accident last Sunday left the singer in critical condition at a Miami hospital.
TMZ reports that Sean is still breathing through a tube in his mouth, preventing him from speaking, "he's awake and alert in his hospital bed, and he's getting better every day."
Sean's family and friends have been coming in droves to his hospital room in at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
The singer "is communicating through nods and sign language," according to TMZ sources.
Last Sunday, Sean and a female passenger crashed his Sea Doo Jet-ski into the Palm Island Bridge. He was then rushed to the trauma unit at Jackson Memorial and has since been moved to the ICU at the hospital.
Sean's doctors plan to keep him hospitalized for another couple of weeks.
