With 24 years between them, they would have beat Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore with the age difference, but the new reports that Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson are dating are not true.

It definitely was a shocking report that Sean and Scarlett could be a new couple, but that's where it's going to end.
E! News reached out to Scarlett's rep, who confirmed it's not at all true.

"Scarlett and Sean are not dating — they have been friends for years," her rep says. "Nothing more, nothing less."
"They have been talking over the last few months regarding Haiti Relief and Scarlett's upcoming trip to Haiti as Oxfam's Global Ambassador," the rep explained.
So if you see Scarlett talking with Sean again, you can probably assume they're still not dating!
