Sean Young Arrested After Post-Oscars Party Altercation

An arrest occured at a post-Oscars party last night that wasn't made by the fashion police. Blade Runner actress Sean Young was arrested as she tried to enter an Oscars after-party.
According to The Los Angeles Times, Sean was placed under citizen's arrest around 10:30 p.m. and taken to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said Sean was involved in "some type of physical altercation" and sources said Sean was fighting with a security guard at the Governor's Ball.
Commander Andrew Smith told The Associated Press that Sean was "trying to get into the party and couldn't get in."

Jail records state Sean, 52, was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor battery and released around 3 a.m. on $20,000 bail. On March 19, she is due to appear in court.

An Associated Press business executive who witnessed the arrest said, "It happened incredibly fast. I thought it was incredibly well-handled."
Sean wasn't the only arrest of the night. Ten people were reportedly arrested in connection with the Oscars ceremony.
