Rehab isn't holding Seann William Scott back from his career. The 34-year-old actor, who is currently seeking treatment for "health and personal issues," has signed on to join Jason Biggs and Eugene Levy for another installment of the hit American Pie franchise — American Reunion.
American Reunion will reunite as many cast members from the popular franchise as possible, and will head right to the box office, not just DVD as originally reported.

So far Seann, Jason and Eugene have already signed, The Wrap reports, and Universal Pictures is in negotiations with Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Coolidge.
The studio also hopes to bring back Alyson Hannigan, currently on the hit CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother, and Shannen Elizabeth.
The comedy is slated to begin filming May 24. In 2005, Universal released American Pie Presents Band Camp direct to DVD with Eugene as the only original star.

Seann voluntarily checked himself into a treatment center yesterday.
His reps told E! News, “Seann William Scott has voluntarily admitted himself for proactive treatment to address health and personal issues.” They added, “He appreciates the support of his many fans at this time.”
His time in recovery should not affect the production schedule of American Reunion.
