Ever since her split from George Clooney, Elisabetta Canalis has really been in the spotlight, but not over the breakup. The Italian model is taking the American public by storm, first with her gig on Dancing With the Stars and now her new PETA campaign!
George's ex bares all in a new ad for PETA’s “I’d rather go naked than wear fur” campaign and certainly sizzles in her birthday suit.
“I decided to go nude because I think that nudity always creates a big reaction,” Elisabetta, 32, explains in a PETA promotional video. “That is what is required to keep people’s attention on such a brutal practice. These poor animals are electrocuted, skinned alive, drowned, and bludgeoned just for the sake of fashion.”
“Don’t buy fur,” she added. “Even a little trim - your gloves or your bag or your jackets …. You must remember that animals don’t have a voice. You must be their voice. Never be afraid to speak up.”
