Yankee fans weren't the only ones holding their breaths at Saturday's game in anticipation of Derek Jeter's much-talked-about 3,000th hit: His girlfriend Minka Kelly was also rooting for her man in a luxury box, and beamed with pride when he hit a home run for his 3,000th career hit!
The 37-year-old team captain became the first Yankee to reach the Major League milestone and the 28th in history, when he slammed the ball over the left-field fence while playing against the Tampa Bay Rays at Yankee Stadium.
