Selena Gomez is super excited about her new film Spring Breakers because it's "real."

The actress spoke to Entertainment Tonight and revealed her character "is the most timid one, for sure."

"She's kind of the one that thinks things over and is more aware of her surroundings, which is definitely how I am in real life," Selena revealed. "But she does have a little bit of an edge to her. She smokes, she drinks, she kind of dances with random guys."

Why did Selena choose this role?

She said, "I wanted to something that was completely different and to be completely honest this is an indie role and i thought if I was going to trust someone it would be director Harmony Korine. I wanted to try to push myself, I wanted to see what I could do and what I was capable of."
