Selena Gomez was looking pretty in purple when she stopped by Fox & Friends this morning, which is coincidentally her boyfriend Justin Bieber's favorite color and the color of Barney — two topics she had to discuss on the show!

Selena has a new album out and her upcoming film Monte Carlo on its way. So, which does she like better? Singing or acting?
"I love each for different reasons, I guess," Selena explained on Fox & Friends. "But I feel like for longevity reasons probably acting. But Monte Carlo was really fun for me. Obviously, I haven't done a lot of films, so this was kind of that step in that direction for me and I had a great time. Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy were amazing to work with and Tom Thomas Bezucha was a good director. It was great."
As for reports that Selena's Disney image is in danger of being tarnished by her relationship with Justin and her new album, Selena doesn't think she's doing anything wrong.
"Well, it's the first time I've heard that. My opinion is that I have the right to live my life and I feel like I've done a very good job as my position that I've been put in," Selena said. "I should be able to grow up. I have finished with Disney channel, but that does not mean I want to completely disown the fact that I have a younger generation looking up to me, I guess. In a way, I feel like I've done the best I can and that's how I am. If I make my family proud and if I make my fans proud, that's all that matters to me."

But then Selena was asked what's the deal with her and The Biebs? Friends? More than friends?
"It's just nice to have someone who knows what you're going through," Selena said.
"Do you ever talk about your Barney days with him?" Fox & Friends asked.
"With him?" Selena asked. "I talk about it all the time... You all talk about it in every interview. I love it. I definitely got picked on all the time, but it was awesome."
