Selena Gomez's Mother Suffers Miscarriage, Report Says

Selena Gomez canceled two holiday shows over the weekend after her mother, Mandy Teefey, reportedly suffered a miscarriage.

The 19-year-old singer cited a "family emergency" as the reason for the last minute cancellation of her holiday-themed shows.

Sadly, E! News reports that sources say Selena's mother suffered a miscarriage on Friday.

Selena was very excited to announce that her mother and stepfather Brian Teefey were expecting last month.

“Momma and Brian are finally letting me share the news,” Selena Tweeted. “My mommys carrying my baby brother or sister.”

Selena was attending Power 106's Cali Christmas 2011 concert in L.A. on Friday when she heard of the news and immediately left.

She then canceled her appearance at both B96 Jingle Bash 2011 and 106.1 KISS FM's Jingle Bell Bash in Seattle that was set for Saturday and Sunday.

Selena's boyfriend, Justin Bieber, Tweeted a nice message over the weekend reminding his fans to be respectful to each other.

"blessed and grateful. i love all of u and please show respect to eachother and others that i care about," he wrote. "be there for one another."

We bet Justin is being a very supportive boyfriend right now.
