Sheryl Crow is one busy lady!

The Rock the Vote spokeswoman is lending her star power to the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, performing a selection of songs at Invesco Field at Mile High stadium to close the event. Afterwards she’ll resume her current tour, playing at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, Ore.

The Grammy-winner has been active in politics for years, working with the Rock the Vote the campaign for over 18 years in many capacities, including spokesperson, board member and activist.

She recently talked about her support for presidential candidate Barack Obama, telling  Extra, "We’ve lost the ability to be inspired. And he’s stepped up. We are finally inspired by the words that he’s saying."
