The dark cloud surrounding actor Shia LaBeouf just keeps getting bigger. First, the 22-year-old was arrested and charged with DUI following a late-night collision on Saturday. Now, his rep has announced that Shia's injuries will keep him away from the set of his upcoming film Transformers 2 for around a month.
"Shia is currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of Transformers 2 within one month," said the actor's rep, Melissa Kates, in a statement released Sunday evening. "No further comment will be issued at this time."

According to the police, LaBeouf was arrested after flipping over the pickup truck he was driving while attempting to make a left turn onto Fountain Ave. from La Brea Ave. in West Hollywood. His truck collided with another vehicle, though early reports state that neither the passengers in the other car, nor the female riding with Shia were seriously injured.
''It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest,'' Los Angeles County Sheriff's Sgt. Scott Wolf told the Associated Press.
