A new report detailing LAPD detective notes gathered the night Rihanna and Chris Brown allegedly fought in his car, resulting in the "No Air" singer's arrest, shows how things went down.
L.A.'s FOX 11 News was the first to obtain detectives' findings from a search warrant in the case. The notes reveal that Rihanna read a three-page text on Chris' phone from another woman, which started the fight.
Chris allegedly tried to push Rihanna to get out of the car but her seat belt held her in place, and he reportedly shoved her against the window. The notes then say she faced him and he punched her, and continued to do so while driving.

According to the notes, as blood spattered Rihanna's clothing and filled her mouth, Chris then said, "I'm going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see."
As she called her assistant and left a message saying, "I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there," Chris replied, "You just did the stupidest thing ever. I'm going to kill you."
According to the report, Chris kept punching and biting Rihanna as well as putting her in a headlock.
