Simon Cowell and his fellow American Idol judges, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul, burst onto the reality show stage with Fox’s ultra-hit singing competition in 2002. Simon’s nasty comments about the show’s less-than-talented contestants were probably equally as entertaining as the performances themselves! Simon certainly made a name for himself as one of TV’s most evil villains, but America still loved him. He made a dramatic departure from the show in 2010 and is set to bring his other singing competition, X Factor, to America from across the pond.
