In a major shock to the entertainment community and all her fans, Sandra Bullock has revealed that has filed for divorce from her husband, Jesse James, and is adopting a baby boy on her own.

"Yes, I have filed for divorce," the 45-year-old Oscar-winning actress says in a new interview, via the Associated Press. "I'm sad and I am scared."
According to the story, Sandra and Jesse began the process to adopt four years ago, and brought 3 1/2 month old Louis Bardo Bullock home from New Orleans in January. As the Academy Awards were coming up, the couple decided to keep quiet.
Shortly after Sandra won the Oscar for her role in The Blind Side, news spread of Jesse's alleged infidelities and the couple separated. It seems being a mom is keeping Sandra going.

"You wake up, you feed, you burp, you play, you do laundry," she says in the interview. "I'm still in that stage where I'm just amazed with him and at life."
"All I said when I met him was, 'Oh, there you are.' It was like he had always been a part of our lives."

When asked about whether James had cheated, Sandra admits in the interview she "had no idea about anything." To deal with it all, she moved forward with her new baby.
"I did the only thing I could do, and that was to pack enough clothes to live on, get all of Louis' things and get out of town. My main concern was Louis."
In addition, she says, "I will be adopting as a single parent. Anything else will be taken day by day."
