Kody Brown, the husband in TLC's new show Sister Wives, didn't make any apologizes for his "plural marriage" lifestyle in the past and based on his stance, we doubt he's making any now that he's under police investigation either.

Before Kody was on the new TLC show, he spoke with plainSpeak newsmagazine, which is published by Northwest College (Wyoming) students, and defended his lifestyle.
Kody has four wives now and 18 children. Polygamy is outlawed in Utah, so Kody's new show has caused Utah to launch an investigation.
“We’re not felons, we’re family,” he explained (via Radar Online).
“If you take off the need for secrecy in polygamy then you will open the door more and more,” Koday said, according to the Powell Tribune.

And Kody also spoke out on people's perceptions that polygamy was just a way for men to have sex with multiple partners.

“If I wanted sex with a lot of women there is a lot of barhopping I could do,” he explained. “It’s not something I’m interested in. I’m interested in a family, raising my children. If it were all about sex there’s just other easier venues, way easier.”
And it doesn't sound like that stance has changed now that they have a TV show.
The Brown family recently said in a statement (via The Associated Press), "When we decided to do this show, we knew there would be risks. But for the sake of our family, and most importantly, our kids, we felt it was a risk worth taking."
