Brad Pitt introduced his new documentary, The House I Live In, at a Hollywood screening on Friday. The film focuses on the United States' "War on Drugs," which Brad apparently thinks is a joke — and he wasn't shy about letting everyone know it.
“My drug days have long since passed, but I could probably land in any American city in any state and get you whatever you wanted," Brad, who has been open about his past pension for marijuana, said. “But we still support this charade called the drug war. We spent a trillion dollars over 40 years and a lot of people have lost their lives over it.”
The House I Live In details the United States' criminal justice system and the perceived flaws and hypocrisy of drug policy. Brad serves as executive producer. Check out the clip below.
