Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is pure joy Saturday when she hosts The Pool After Dark at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City. The Jersey Shore star, 23, is a ball of energy as she leaves her cabana to dance with my pals and I in the VIP section. (She’s a phenomenal dancer!)

At one point, she pours herself over the couch, exposing a private part, and Snooki’s friend tugs at her short dress as she “couch dances” to prevent it from happening again.  (Whoops!)

Still, it’s just another day for the reality darling, whose dad is among those who accompany her. He consoles and protects her, making a motion signaling “no photos” in VIP as she busts her moves to tunes including Rihanna’s Only Girl In The World, Britney SpearsI Wanna Go, Chris Brown’s Yeah 3X, Ne-Yo’s Give Me Everything (Tonight), Daft Punk’s One More Time and Rozalla’s Everybody’s Free.

But with the recent firing of the most popular cast members on the Real Housewives of NYC, Snooki knows that her days in the spotlight could be limited.

“Honestly, I don’t question my status at all,” she tells me. “If you don’t want me, you don’t want me. That’s all. I had my run, and that’s it, but I’m loving life right now, so I don’t care. If you want me or you don’t want me, that’s your problem.”

How does she envision her life after Jersey Shore?

“I want to have my family,” she says. “I want to get married. I want to have good kids, I want to have a good family, and that’s it.”

Snooki is such a delight - totally carefree.
