Sofia Vergara Hearts Betty White: "I Want to be Her When I Grow Up"

Sure, she's a star on Modern Family but when it comes to being a modern woman herself, Sofia Vergara kicks it old school. She's not a huge fan of plastic surgery, endorses looking your age and most of all, wants to have the longevity of Betty White's career.

In the February issue of Ladies Home Journal, Sofia opens up about aging gracefully and accepting a laugh line here, crows feet there. As for her thoughts on plastic surgery, she dishes, "A woman should never have it to look younger. To fix little things here and there, maybe. To look a little fresher, okay. But you're always going to look your age."

So, as for the thyroid cancer survivor's hero to not only looking your age but also never losing your mojo and moxie? Two words: Betty White. "I love that she is still so relevant and taking risks at 89. I want to be her when I grow up." Considering Sofia will star in three movies next year including the highly anticipated and animated The Smurfs co-starring Neil Patrick Harris, Katy Perry and George Lopez's voices, looks like she's on her way.
