Sony Bids $50 Million for MJ Rehearsal Footage

In an effort to nab the worldwide distribution rights to video of Michael Jackson rehearsing for his "This Is It" planned comeback concerts, Sony Corp's movie studio has plunked down a $50 million bid for the footage, reports the Associated Press.Citing "a person "familiar with the bid" the AP adds that the bid came about after several studios were shown the footage last week. Whoever wins the footage would then produce the film with AEG, the concert promoter, and his estate.
