Spencer Pratt channeled his inner mountain man on Wednesday as he dealt with his split from wife Heidi Montag by going for a solo run on the trails in Malibu, Calif. The heavily- bearded reality star wore complete hiking attire, holding onto a walkie talkie and a water bottle as he sprinted his way through the terrain.

Heidi has allegedly initiated a legal separation from Spencer, her husband of one year, claiming he was too controlling.
