Four years after reuniting for their epic world tour in 2008, the Spice Girls are back together again, celebrating a new project that is close to their hearts.
Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisholm stepped out in London this afternoon to announce a new musical, Viva Forever, which will premiere in the West End. The musical is based on the Spice Girls' greatest hits and is sure to give their movie, Spice World, a run for its money!

"It's better than we could ever have imagined," Mel C said during today's press launch at the St Pancras Hotel, where the Spice Girls shot the video for their first hit, "Wannabe." And according to Victoria, the show will "be introducing a whole new generation to Girl Power."

"I loved what the Spice Girls did for women's confidence," the musical's producer, Judy Craymer, gushed. "There's something very empowering about them." And the writer, Jennifer Saunders, couldn't agree more. "The second I knew this project was up for grabs, I rang my agent and said I had to be involved."
Viva Forever opens for previews on Nov. 27 and debuts on Dec. 11 at London's Piccadilly Theatre.
