Star Jones: ‘Friendship Is About Being Together’

Star Jones and philanthropist Denise Rich share a special friendship.

“Denise is one of my dearest friends,” the 45-year-old host says. “She’s the kind of friend that everybody should have. Not just because of her lifestyle, but because she’s a real friend.”

What do they do together?

“She likes to stay up late and chat all night long. I can literally tell you that we all go to bed when it’s girls’ weekend at about 3 or 4 o’clock in the morning. She’s a big, old chatty Cathy. I’ve been on the boat before. The best thing about her is we can go to McDonald’s or we can spend time on the yacht. Friendship is not about where you are; it’s about being together.”
