On Wednesday night, the 2011 CMT Awards, hosted by Kid Rock, had everyone talking. Justin Beiber won his first country music award, but Belieber’s everywhere wondered why girlfriend Selena Gomez had not accompanied the singer. The Band Perry had their first live performance, and walked away with the Breakthrough Video of the Year award. After a 7-year absence, Shania Twain started the ceremony off with a hysterical video with Taylor Swift, taking on the iconic Thelma and Louise and featuring cameos from Donald Trump and Glee’s Chord Overstreet. Jason Aldean and Ludacris, Rascal Flatts, and Sugarland were just some of the performances to rock the stage last night.

Ladies, we also learned the dangers of wearing some high, high heels. Making her way to the stage, Shania Twain tripped and fell to the floor. Regaining her composure, Shania continued on, a bit red-face, to present the Male Video of the Year award to Blake Shelton. Later that night, she posted a YouTube video stating, “I’m going to auction off those shoes actually. I’m going to get rid of them as soon as I can. I never want to see those shoes again.”

But that wasn't the only blunder the CMT Awards encountered this year. During a duet with Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow took a page out of Lindsay Lohan’s book and suffered from a wardrobe malfunction, flashing the 2011 CMT Awards audience and those at home watching the award show live. Sporting a micro-mini, when Sheryl got up to dance with Kid Rock, she flashed her underwear. Well, at least she was wearing some!
