The Coachella Music Festival kicked off on Friday in a very sunny Indio with a slew of celebrities from Nicky Hilton to Twilight’s Ashley Greene braving the heat and taking in the sounds on the Polo Field.
Nicky brought along boyfriend David Katzenberg while listening to opening day bands such as Afrojack and the Black Keys.

Ashley, who is friends with Kings of Leon band member Jared Followill, made sure not to miss the headliners perform.

American Pie’s Tara Reid, Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio, and former Hills star Whitney Port were also spotted on the grass at Coachella rocking out to the music.
