Kate Walsh, Jonathan Groff, Amanda Peet, Naomi Watts, Liev Schreiber, James Gandolfini and Edie Falco were among the stars that were in NYC last night for The Public Theater's Annual Gala. Part of the evening's event included a performance of The Merchant of Venice by Shakespeare in the Park at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park.

Theater has a special place in the heart of a lot of these celebrities, Shakespeare in the Park especially! In fact, one of the guests in attendance, Kevin Spacey, got his start in a performance of Shakespeare in the Park!

Other stars in attendance were David Schwimmer and fiancee Zoe Buckman, Lucy Liu, Sarah Paulson, Deborah Lin, Zach Braff and girlfriend model Taylor Bagley and Lorraine Bracco. It seemed like a really fun and memorable night for all involved!
