It was only when filling out applications for law school that Steve Carell fully realized his passion for acting. Seven years after graduating college, Steve landed a gig at the acclaimed Second City comedy troupe in Chicago in 1991. A few years later he married comedy writer and actress Nancy Walls and the couple moved to NYC in 1999 to join The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. In 2005, Steve made the pivotal move to network TV, starring in the American remake of The Office. The show catapulted Steve to mainstream fame and helped him start a Hollywood film career in movies like Bruce Almighty, Little Miss Sunshine and The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
