Steve Carell may star in Dinner for Schmucks, but that doesn't mean he is one. The actor attended the premiere of his new film in NYC on Monday night dressed to impress in Canali, when he chatted with reporters about his new film and his old job at The Office. But before you go calling Steve (or Michael Scott) a schmuck for leaving The Office, read his reasoning why fans shouldn't be disappointed.

Steve may be forging ahead with new projects, but fans are disappointed he's leaving The Office.
But Steve had some comforting news to pass on to his fans.
"The Office will continue," he told reporters at the Ziegfeld Theatre. "The Office will be great."

And although some may argue Steve is the best part of the show, he wouldn't agree.
Steve simply stated, "The Office will be fantastic."
