TV Fanatic and OK!'s Rana Meyer break down their fave shows of the night!
Desperate Housewives: “Susan’s desire to connect with her new neighbors, life partners Bob and Lee, led her to do some pretty dumb things, like stashing up their dog in hopes of “finding” him after he had escaped the yard. You can’t hate on Susan. She still would have been her bumbling, brainless self in her quest to be liked, whether her neighbors had been straight, gay or bisexual. Lee should be pleased she fumbled over him and Bob like any other set of newbies who move onto Wisteria Lane. Katherine is hardcore. I really thought she was going to deny Aunt Lily her pills so the old woman would meet her eternal maker even faster. Wonder if Katherine will find that damaging note any time soon. Bree finally got caught faking it by her former dead husband’s mother. Granny now has a lot to hold over Bree’s head, and as we saw, she had no qualms about putting it in effect immediately. Always wondered what Felicity Huffman would look like as a redhead, though I was pleased that in the end, Tom wanted to make love to Lynette as herself, hair optional. As for the STD shared among Gaby, Carlos, Victor and Edie, I don’t think I’ll be able to look at a crab cake the same way again.” – TV Fanatic
Brothers & Sisters: “Poor Tommy. First his newborn son passes away, then his post-partum wife decides that she blames him for the loss and takes their newborn daughter and moves in with her parents because she needs 'space.' Having a hot new assistant is definitely not going to be helping matters. You could spot that flirtation between Tommy and Lena coming a mile away. My only concern is if Tommy will allow it to go any further, especially since I’m sure that is when his wife Julia will of course decide to make her unexpected return. Meanwhile, the other Walkers aren’t doing so well either, especially war vet/recovering drug addict Justin. I just knew it wouldn’t be a good thing when Justin finally agreed to take monitored doses of his pain medication, even though he was afraid of getting hooked again. But when he was at the rehab center and a fellow war hero was going on about being high on the pain meds, I was screaming at the television, 'Don’t do it Justin.' But unfortunately, Justin has succumbed and he has already started lying about it. It is not going to be a good day when his overbearing mother Nora becomes aware of this. But the best part of the episode had to be the mother/daughters weekend at the spa. This show is always the best when it gets down to those crazy Walkers going away together, they just get so damn loud. Watching them get kicked out of the 'quiet room' at the spa was the funniest thing ever. Nora just can’t keep her mouth shut! Just wait until she finds out what is going on with her boys back home. Then we’ll never hear the end of it!” -- Rana
