Kate Gosselin may be on Dancing With the Stars, but she's wanted by an American Idol — Specifically Taylor Hicks!

"I would totally date her," Taylor told PopEater when the subject of Kate was brought up. "I have always said I wanted nine kids, so it would be perfect!"
The American Idol is currently starring in Grease and is happy to not in the spotlight too much right now.

"People see Kelly Clarkson on the covers of magazines talking about her weight and Carrie Underwood always making headlines about who she's dating and wonder where has Taylor been," a friend of Taylor told PopEater. "Yet he's happy to be under the radar doing what he always dreamed of doing — performing live eight times a week to sold out crowds."
But if he started dating Kate he would definitely be making headlines!
