Taylor Swift Admits She Wrote About an Ex After Giving Word She Wouldn't
There are plenty of celebrities who like to keep their private life private, but Taylor Swift isn't one of them! She sat down with the New York Times and admitted that she hasn't always stuck to promises she made to ex-boyfriends.

“Of course I was like, ‘Oh, don’t worry, I won’t.’ And then I did,” Taylor admitted.
“Look, it’s not like it was written somewhere in the fine print that I write songs about my life. If we break up, I’m going to write about it,” she said. “But I’m probably also going to write about when I fell in love with you. So there’s an upside.”

We're not sure that's enough of an upside for Jake Gyllenhaal, who is rumored to be the inspiration behind Taylor's newest album, Red. The singer-songwriter would not confirm or deny this rumor.
She explains, “I don’t talk about who it is specifically because these are real people. You try to give insight as to where you were coming from as a writer without completely throwing somebody under the bus.”
