Taylor Swift is preparing for a marathon — a 13-hour-long meet and greet with her fans! The 20-year-old has very ambitious plans for this year’s CMA Music Festival, officially announcing today that she is going to spend 13 hours meeting as many of her fans as possible.
The country music queen will be hosting “Taylor Swift’s 13-Hour Meet & Greet” at Nashville, Tenn.’s Bridgestone Arena, in the heart of CMA Music Festival activities, on June 13, from 8 a.m. CDT until 9 p.m. CDT.
Her goal is to meet as many of her loyal fans as possible during the 13-hour event, which will include a short acoustic performance from Taylor around 2 p.m. along with several featured fan activities throughout the day.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome!
“My favorite thing about CMA Music Fest has always been getting to spend time with the fans, so this year I wanted to figure out a way to meet as many of them as possible,” Taylor said in a statement regarding the event. “Thirteen is my lucky number, and the 13th is during Music Fest, so I think spending 13 hours that day with my fans is going to be amazing!”
Additional event details will be posted on taylorswift.com the week of the event.
The 13-hour event will be Taylor’s only performance during the CMA Music Festival.
