Girls Like Us tracks the rise of seventies singers, Joni, Carly Simon and Carole King. Variety reports that Taylor hasn't officially signed on and the project has yet to officially be greenlit, but outlook is good that everything will fall into place and the flick will go into production later this year.
Taylor appeared in Valentine's Day and most recently voiced the character "Audrey" in The Lorax. Despite a rather small resume, she told MTV News earlier this year that acting was one of her many passions.
