“Just talked to Kevin McGuire. He's not well enough to join me at the ACMs. Please keep him in your thoughts. I'll make it up to you, Kevin!” Taylor tweeted on Saturday of the disappointing news.
Kevin’s sister Victoria McGuire announced that he was “devastated” to be absent for the Las Vegas awards show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Facebook.
“As we should all live by the moto 'live for today' a cancer patient feels the impact of these words far to hard. We appreciate everything you have done for us, and we know you are all hurt from this too. Please continue to pray for Kevin and his health, because that is the most important thing,” the post read.
