Looks like Ted Williams can't keep his golden voice in rehab. The homeless man who launched to national fame after a video featuring his perfect-pitched radio voice went viral, checked himself out of rehab after undergoing less than two weeks of treatment.

According to TMZ, Ted left the Origins Recovery Center in South Texas, disregarding medical advice that he should stay in treatment longer to battle his alcohol dependency.

Ted decided to check himself into rehab earlier this month after meeting with Dr. Phil and admitting on air that he has battled with alcoholism.

TMZ sources report Ted was headed to the airport upon his departure from rehab, and that his girlfriend is currently in rehab at the Safe Harbor facility in Costa Mesa, Calif.

Maybe he is just transferring rehab facilities to be closer to his girlfriend? We sure hope so!
