Now Leah Messer isn’t just a Teen Mom — she’s a stage mom! Her 2-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah, got into the glitz and glamour of the pageant world as they participated in their first children’s beauty pageant in West Virginia on Feb. 11. “Leah was so thrilled by the whole
experience, and the girls really seemed to have fun doing it,” an insider tells OK!.
The 19-year-old Teen Mom 2 star has been wanting to introduce her girls to the pageant world, and with the pageant raising money for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, this was the perfect opportunity.

The good cause led to lots of fun for Leah, her ex-hubby and baby-daddy Corey Simms, and their tutu-adorned girls. “Leah had a blast picking their outfits,” says the insider. “It was really a chance for her to dress them up and let them be the center of attention.”
And show off they did! “Aleeah totally owned the stage,” says the insider. “She wasn’t shy at all and ended up winning the prize for prettiest eyes.” Ali (who has physical disabilities of her own and inspired Leah to raise the money for charity) also sparkled on stage. “She wasn’t as sure of herself, but with her dad’s help, she made it onto the stage and won an award for the best smile,” says the insider.

In fact, everyone was a winner, according to pageant director Kim Dawson. “Everyone who comes to my pageant receives a 2-foot trophy, a 3-inch crown and a custom sash — plus divisional side awards,” says Dawson, who adds that Leah was so supportive that she turned down the sibling discount!
Leah, who is now engaged to Jeremy Calvert, may have gotten her Toddlers & Tiaras dream for the twins, but, more importantly, the day was a breakthrough for her and Corey, who haven’t been getting along. Says the insider, “They actually went the whole day without any arguments, od’s which made Leah very happy.”
