NEWS'Teen Mom' Maci Bookout Is Engaged!

As season two of Teen Mom ended, fans weren’t sure if Kyle King, 22, was really ready to take on girlfriend Maci Bookout, 19, and her 2-year-old son, Bentley. Turns out, he was! “Maci and Kyle are engaged!” a friend of the couple’s tells OK! in this week's all-new issue. Indeed, Maci was seen wearing a ring outside the taping of the Teen Mom reunion in L.A. on April 9. (Though another insider says it’s a promise ring, it’s clearly a symbol of a lifelong commitment.)
While the pal says the pair is thrilled, someone else is not so happy: Maci’s baby daddy and Kyle’s former best friend, Ryan Edwards, 22, who found out just before the reunion special that Maci was planning to break the news to him on camera.
“He got pissed because she didn’t have the respect to tell him in private,” an insider tells OK!. And a friend of Ryan’s concurs, saying his anger was all about Maci wanting to exploit their drama — and not about him wanting her back. “Ryan doesn’t care,” the friend tells OK!. “He’s just glad she’s happy because it makes his life a lot easier.”

With the confrontation with Ryan in the past, Maci and Kyle are now free to plan their wedding, which one insider says won’t take place anytime soon: “They aren’t ready to get married, but they do think they’re the ones for each other.” Regardless, the pair’s happiness is clear: Days after Tweeting that she, Bentley and Kyle would take a road trip this summer, Maci gushed, “I’m so lucky to have @kyleking100.” Aww!
