As the fifth season of Jersey Shore kicked off last night, there was no shortage of drama! Tension rose between Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino in good old Seaside Heights, N.J.

OK! NEWS: JERSEY SHORE RETURNS TONIGHT! WHO WILL STIR UP THE MOST DRAMA THIS SEASON? As the cast returned from Florence, Italy, they celebrated their homecoming at a local Jersey shore bar. Brewing a perfect storm, however, Snooki's boyfriend, Jionni, LaValle is a little in the dark regarding the hook-up between Snooki and The Situation. Apparently the Sitch's new sidekick, brazen bodybuilder Jonathan "The Unit" Manfre wasn't shy about stirring the pot. According to RadarOnline, the Situation bragged, "This is a perfect storm. Now the witnesses are here. It's only a matter of time before the truth comes out!" VIDEO: WATCH JERSEY SHORE SEASON 5 TRAILER! You can imagine what happened next! The Unit started egging Snooki on to the point where she yelled at him and censorship bleeps were in full effent. "If you didn't have Mike you'd be a f**kin loser, you f**ing idiot!" The Unit appeared to provoke Snooki and chanted, "I got you girl!" Things seemed to settle down, only after reaching a fever pitch. While he certainly made a mark on his Jersey Shore debut, in other news, Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio hooked-up with Snooki's friend and Vinny Guadagnino said he was "in a funk" being homesick after Italy. Did you tune in last night? What did you think?
