Lisa's life had grown increasingly tumultuous in recent years. The star battled an addiction to alcohol, and she had been arrested at least four times for DUI.
"She had been fighting demons for a while and finally lost her battle," her agent tells TMZ.
The news site claims friends had checked Lisa into rehab for the most recent time on Monday, and she went into cardiac arrest on Wednesday after falling off the wagon.

One reason for her problems, claims TMZ, were all the problems the actress had with Robert Gilliam, her estranged husband of less than a year.
The couple's relationship was so bad that they were arrested for domestic abuse and assault just one month after they exchanged vows. And Lisa cited "irreconcilable differences" when she filed for divorce from him in July.
