Tiger Woods is coming out of hiding to apologize for his indiscretions and address his plans for the future of his career at a meeting in Florida on Feb. 19. The pro-golfer's agent, Mark Steinberg, and his spokesman, Glenn Greenspan, announced the meeting today. “Tiger Woods will be speaking to a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates at 11:00 a.m. EST Friday at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida,” the statement said.
“Tiger plans to discuss his past and his future and he plans to apologize for his behavior.”
Tiger, 34, has been on an indefinite break from golf since admitting he was unfaithful to his wife. He hasn’t spoken publicly since the his car accident outside his home on Nov. 27, which was followed by various reports of alleged extramarital affairs.

“Tiger feels as though It’s time to make amends and to publicly do that,” the agent said. “This has all come together quite quickly.”
No questions or video cameras will be allowed at the meeting, Steinberg said; however, a group of reporters will be present.

Tiger has been absent from six events this year. He is the winner of 73 PGA Tour events.
