Tim McGraw, Family Ready For Aussie Adventure

It’s an extra-special Father’s Day for Tim McGraw now that he’s gearing up to take his family to Australia. The country singer, 43, has three daughters – Gracie, Maggie and Audrey – with wife Faith Hill, and they're set to tackle wildlife challenges.
“I’m a new pilot, so I’ve already got a plane reserved, so I’m going to go solo out over the Outback,” he says during Nashville's CMA Music Festival. “I’m really looking forward to that. My middle daughter is a real outdoor girl. Her dream is to go in a shark cage off the Barrier Reef, and see some Great Whites, so she’s getting certified this summer so we can go down to the shark cage and see some Great Whites. We’ve got a lot of big plans.”

Although he’s excited about touring the other side of the world, he’ll always call Nashville home.
“When I moved here in 1989, I knew no matter whether I was going to be plugging songs with somebody or carrying a guitar for somebody, I knew I was going to live in Nashville for the rest of my life,” he says. “I really loved this city, I loved the community, I loved the people. It’s a hard-working city. It’s a city full of people who bust their a** every day. They go to work, they take care of their families, they go to Little League on Wednesday nights and Friday nights, and it’s a bucolic place. I can’t think of anyplace I’d rather raise my kids.”
Tim is quick to dole out fatherly advice gleaned from experience.
“The times I feel like I’ve made bad decisions I feel like I haven’t gone with my gut.”
