Tim Tebow, who shot to fame this football season after stepping in as the Denver Broncos' starting quarterback, admitted to reigning Dancing With the Stars champion J.R. Martinez that he is definitely interested in competing on the hit reality series.
J.R. was in Indianapolis over the weekend gearing up for the Super Bowl and met up with Tim, who lost to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots during the playoffs.
“I actually did come across Tim Tebow, and we chatted about Dancing With the Stars for a second," J.R. tells Celebuzz. "I thought he’d do pretty well on the show!”

And apparently, Tim thinks the same, confessing to J.R. that he would consider slipping off his cleats and trying out some dancing shoes in the near future.

“He said, ‘Maybe in a year,' " J.R. admits. "That’s pretty much what he said."
How cool would that be? Maybe Katy Perry will sign on for the same season!
