Tina Fey: Actress, comedienne, screenwriter and now-- author. The New York Post is reporting that the SNL alum has signed a book deal worth more than $5 million and is "not being pitched as a memoir, but instead as nonfiction humor, more in the style of author, screenwriter and film director Nora Ephron."
Publisher Little, Brown Book Group, confirmed the deal but did not specify a dollar amount. This is the latest achievement for Fey, who rose to fame writing for Saturday Night Live, and later joining the cast. She currently stars in the Emmy-winning show 30 Rock and has attracted attention for her portrayal of Republican vice-presidential candidate Alaska governor Sarah Palin.
