'Today' Show Takes on Demi Lovato's Rehab Decision

Demi Lovato's sudden decision to leave the Jonas Brother's Camp Rock tour and enter rehab has left the public bewildered. Now, many in the entertainment world are trying to figure out the impetus behind the budding young Disney star's current state.

While the 18-year-old singer's reps says she is seeking treatment for "emotional and physical issues," the story seems to go deeper.

“Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that," the rep statement continued.

The Today show interviewed psychiatrist Gail Saltz about Demi's current condition and digs deeper into the star's life for a diagnosis.
