Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' marriage may have come to a sudden and shocking end, but the former couple are remaining on good terms for their daughter Suri.

People reports the two have a "civilized routine," with regard to their six-year-old and the pair "are talking," a source tells the magazine. "They are both going to do what's best for Suri."

In the divorce settlement, which was reached in early July, Katie, 33, won primary physical custody of Suri, but Tom, 50, has generous visitation rights.
