Almost two months after being critically injured in a tragic plane crash in South Carolina, rock star Travis Barker finally gave his first televised interview.

"Thanks for all the support," the former Blink 182 drummer said during the live broadcast of MTV's finale for Total Request Live. "I feel better every day."

During the interview, Travis, who suffered severe burns that kept him in the hospital for a month, appeared slightly dazed and weak, but he assured his fans that all is well.

"I'm already playing my drums again," he revealed. "I'm already back in the studio."

As for what it's like to be back behind the drumkit, Travis explained, "It was like riding a bike. It was really exciting to know i still had my chops."

Travis' touring partner Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein, who was also hospitalized following the crash, has already gotten back out on the road, performing with Jay-Z during his recent concert tour.
