'Twilight' Goddesses Kristen Stewart & Ashley Greene Go Glam at Met Institute Costume Gala!

Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene have certainly evolved as style icons since being catapulted to superstardom for their roles in Twilight. The hot, young Hollywood actresses looked sophisticated, fresh and basically flawless Monday night at the "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC!

K-Stew radiated in a ruby red Proenza Schouler dress  and brought the design team, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough, as her dates to the annual star-studded gala!

The event is hosted by Vogue’s EIC Anna Wintour, and @voguemagazine Tweeted, “Kristen Stewart with the Proenza Schouler boys, she was fixing their bow ties right before walking the red carpet.”

Unfortunately, her leading man — the always dapper Robert Pattinson — could not join her on the carpet, as he is busy promoting his new flick Water for Elephants in Europe with co-star Reese Witherspoon.
