Releasing The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 on DVD just before Valentine's Day turned out to be a very smart decision by Summit Entertainment. The popular film sold $3.2 million discs in just two days!

So far, Breaking Dawn has been the most popular DVD release of the year, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film also sold an impressive $50,000 downloads and 80,000 VOD transactions.
On the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert overall disc sales chart, Breaking Dawn was No. 1.

With how dedicated Twi-hards are to the franchise, the results are not all that surprising.
But was was surprising were the No. 2 and 3 spots on the chart!
Lady and the Tramp's Blu-Ray debut earned it to come in second and A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas came in third.
